In a conversation with a media reporter, he said, "All the roles I have played after Arjun are different. I did 'Lado-Virpur Ki Mardaani', 'Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai', now all the characters that have been played till date are strong and masculine type.

Playing Rishi's role is going to be a lot more challenging for Shaleen. In real life I am like Rishi, I am not serious at all.
