A 20-year-old star footballer's fan committed suicide as Argentina is knocked out of the football world cup. Fans are so much fond of their favorite player to win. The boy who committed suicide belongs to Habibpur in West Bengal's Malda district. He committed suicide on Saturday.

The boy is identified as Monotosh Halder, according to sources the boy had skipped dinner on the day of the match and went to sleep soon after.

Mongol Halder, Monotosh's father told the police that"My son had no illness. He was an Argentina fan and every day he used to remain glued to the TV since the world cup had started. He was distraught after Argentina's loss to France. But we never thought he would do something like this," said This is not the first time a fan is ending life after just a football game.

Same as Montosh another football fan found dead. Last month, the body of Dinu Alex, a die-hard Argentina fan from Kerala was found near Illikal Bridge in Kottayam after the team's 3-0 loss to Croatia.

It was game over for Lionel Messi and co on Saturday as Argentina were knocked out after a 4-3 loss to France, who will face Uruguay in the quarterfinal.
This loss came a few days after the Barcelona superstar's 31st birthday.

It's just an advice for the fans that it's not necessary that your favorite player always wins if you admire him he will always be your superstar no matter what if he wins or loses. Dont lose your life for the ones who dont even know your name. People will have some other football superstar, but your parents only have you. Just give it a thought.
