Recipe: Know how to make sugar free Ragi Barfi

Necessary ingredients :

2 tbsp almonds

1 cup Makhane

2 tablespoons Charoli / Chironji

2 tablespoons raisins

1/4 cup grated coconut

½ cup of sugar

½ cup of water

2 cardamom

Ghee few drops to smooth the bottom

Method of making: First of all, peel the green cardamom and coarsely crush the seeds. Then grease the tray or the bottom of the tray with a few drops of ghee. Now wash the raisins and wipe them with kitchen paper. Then heat the pan and fry the Makhane for 2-3 minutes. Then let the Makhana cool down for a while and now cut it into a small piece of Makhane. Then roast the almonds for one minute in the same pan and cool them and grind them coarsely.

Now mix the clotted coconut, raisins and chironji with ground makhana and almonds. Then boil water and sugar in a pan. After the first boil reduces the heat and cook until the sugar syrup thickens. For this barfi, two-wire syrup would be perfect. To check the syrup between your two fingers, take a drop syrup, if two wires are formed between the fingers then the syrup is perfect.

Then in the syrup Add all the nuts, cardamom powder and coconut and mix well. Then cook the sugar syrup until it is dry for about two minutes, stirring continuously. Then put the mixture evenly in a smooth curry plate/tray Let it cool for a while. It takes about 8-10 minutes. Now cut the barfi in the desired shape. Your barfi is ready to be served and served.
