After the huge success of MG Motor's Hector SUV, the company is now rapidly preparing to bring its second car to India. It is an electric SUV, which will be launched under the name MG ZS EV. The company has released a picture, listing this electric SUV on the official website. It was also seen during testing on the Vadodara-Halol highway, from where its pictures have been leaked. These pictures reveal several details of this MG electric SUV.

The ZS EV is the electric version of the MG motor's ZS SUV. It is a 5-seater electric SUV. Its side and front look in the picture released on the website, while the rear look of the SUV is seen in the leaked photos. This electric SUV has dual-tone rear bumpers with wraparound headlamps and taillights and integrated reflectors. Apart from this, the SUV has outside rear view mirrors (ORVM) with turn signals, roof rails, shark fin antenna and faux skid plates in silver color. It looks very much like a standard ZS SUV.

Talking about the overseas market, this electric SUV of MG Motor has been launched in the UK market. It costs between Rs 18.50 lakh and Rs 20.10 lakh. In India, it can be launched in December. In the Indian market, it will compete with Hyundai Kona Electric. The MG ZS EV is expected to be given a 52.5 kWh lithium-ion battery. Reports said that this electric SUV will come with a range of 350-400 km once it is fully charged. MG Motor has previously made it clear that its electric vehicles will be equipped with over-the-air (OTA) technology.
