MG Motor India is preparing to unveil a revamped 2022 ZS EV in India shortly, and the company has now disclosed further details regarding the vehicle's cabin comfort and updated look. The fully electric vehicle's official debut date has yet to be revealed by the automaker.

The rear-seat comfort will be prioritised in the new MG ZS EV, owing to the addition of a rear-seat centre armrest with cupholders and a centre headrest. To improve the comfort of rear passengers, the redesigned model will have rear air-conditioning vents. Apart from that, there will be an upgraded instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system in the interior.

The 2022 ZS EV will have a front-covered grille and a redesigned charging socket, which will be located to the left of the MG emblem. A sunroof is also included, as well as new 17-inch alloy wheels with a revised appearance. The front fascia has been drastically changed, with body-colored closed sections replacing the brilliant chrome adorned grille.

A reworked bumper, slim LED projector headlights, integrated LED daytime running lights, black side body cladding, and an updated rear bumper are among the other visual modifications. Arctic White, Black Pearl, Battersea Blue, Monument Silver, and Dynamic Red are the five colour options for the new ZS EV.

The new MG ZS EV will be built on the globally successful UK platform and will have a range of up to 622 kilometres. The vehicle will be offered with two distinct battery packs: a 51 kWh battery pack and a 73 kWh battery pack. The car will produce 156 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, and will accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 8.2 seconds. Fast charging technology will be included in the new ZS EV, allowing the battery to be charged to 80% in under an hour.
