Digital voice assistants from the world's leading company Microsoft will not be available as a stand-alone app in many countries including India. Apart from India, its service will be discontinued in Australia, UK, China, Spain, and Canada on 31 January 2020. After its shutdown, users of these countries will not be able to function its main functions such as reminders and lists. However, in these countries, these features will be accessible in Windows OS. However, Android and iOS users will not be able to access its features. However, Microsoft's decision does not completely shut down Cortana, rather it can only be accessed with the Microsoft 365 app.

According to media reports, Microsoft has written in its support page that from 31 January 2020 it will not be accessible on Android and iOS mobile apps. In these devices, it will also not be accessible through Microsoft Launcher. Not only this, the list, reminder, and task you have created will be automatically synced to the Microsoft to-do list, which you can download for free on your phone. You will be able to use its to-do list and calendar and another list in your phone after this.
