On Wednesday, Micromax launched the new Canvas Amaze 2 smartphone in India a price of Rs. 7,499, and it has been made available for sale exclusively on Flipkart. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD display covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection and is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It also features 13MP and 5MP cameras. The device is equipped with a 2500mAh battery and supports 4G.

The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Canvas Amaze 2 smartphone features dual-SIM support. The handset supports 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB connectivity options.

The handset packs 16GB of onboard storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 64GB).
