SAN FRANCISCO:  As Omicron-led Covid infections fade across the country, Microsoft has declared plans to completely reopen its offices in Washington State (its headquarters) on February 28.

According to the company, its Washington state work sites will advance to the sixth and final stage of the hybrid workplace model on February 28 as a result of improved local health metrics.

"Employees will have 30 days from this date to change their routines and adopt the working preferences they've agreed upon with their managers," the firm said late Monday in a statement. "We are now able to completely offer our facilities to our staff, visitors, and guests. All services on campus will be restored. We're also excited to join other local businesses in welcome back more staff in the coming weeks "Added the tech behemoth.

Microsoft's hybrid workplace strategy has anchored each of its work sites to one of six specified stages for nearly two years, allowing the business to quickly alter its direction based on health statistics, local government guidelines, vaccine availability and vaccination rates, and other factors.

Microsoft stated that it will put in place established local testing methods and that it will follow all government advice for organisations like theirs. Outside of Washington, the company's Bay Area locations, including its new Silicon Valley Campus, will open on February 28.
