London: Following the start-up and restart of operations by airlines Saudia, Emirates, and Qatar Airways, Birmingham Airport's flights to the Middle East are operating at "virtually full capacity" this summer, BirminghamLive reported on Thursday.

In July, Saudia, the national carrier of the Kingdom, began operating three times weekly flights to Jeddah from Birmingham. The change makes the new route available to pilgrims from the Midlands who are performing the Hajj and Umrah.

After being removed from BHX during the pandemic, Emirates resumed its A380 network in July with a regular flight schedule to Dubai.
