Mumbai railway station gets crowded with migrant laborers, railways issued statement

Mumbai: A large number of people thronged Lokmanya Tilak Terminus station today amid the growing threat of coronavirus in the country. According to the agency, a huge crowd of migrants gathered in Mumbai at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) in Kurla on Tuesday. There is constant discussion of a complete lockdown in Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, railway CPRO says that this crowd in LTT Kurla is not uncommon. Get to see this in the summer season. The statement further said that a total of 23 trains are scheduled to depart from LTT today, out of which 16 will either go north or east. 5 out of these 16 are summer special trains. After watching the video released by the news agency, there is speculation that the second wave of coronavirus may not regenerate a situation like 2020.

The threat of lockdown still persists in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said after a meeting with the CM that a lockdown could be imposed soon in view of the corona situation in Maharashtra. He is preparing for it. However, he also said that the final decision on this will be that of state CM Uddhav Thackeray. Rajesh Tope further said that the government is making arrangements to ensure that the poor do not face any problem in the lockdown.
