India made a Historic vaccination journey, Nine months after the vaccination drive started to reach this milestone. In India, 75 percent of adults have received at least one dose of vaccine, while 31 percent of the population has received both doses.

More than 102 crore doses have been provided by the Central Government to the States and Union Territories so far. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Wednesday appealed to eligible people for vaccination to get vaccinated without delay and contribute to India's historic immunization journey. Preparations are on to celebrate the achievement of 100 crore doses across the country. It will thank those who have contributed to vaccination by organizing programmes across the country.

With this, the largest khadi tricolour in the country will be hoisted in the Red Fort. India achieved the feat of administering 100 crore doses of vaccine, it will be announced on aircraft, metro and railway stations.
