Indian home series has always been special and being remembered for the great triumph by the players. Once again India will be hosting England team for the five test matches. The first match will begin from 9th November in Rajkot. Here are some of the remembered milestones being achieved by Indian players being in a home series of 5 tests.

1. 1989: Sachin Tendulkar made his test match debut for the country

2. 1992: Kapil Dev becomes the first Indian bowler to take 400 test wickets.

3. 1994: Kapil Dev becomes the leading wicket-taker in tests.

4. 1999: Anil Kumble took all 10wickets in a test match.

5. 2001: Harbhajan Singh brings first test hat-trick for India.

6. 2004: Virender Sehwag becomes first Indian to score 300 in test cricket.

7. 2005: Sachin Tendulkar has surpassed Sunil Gavaskar's record of 34 test centuries.

8. 2008: Sachin Tendulkar broke Brian Lara's record of most test runs.

9. 2009: India reaches test number 1 ranking for the first time.

10. 2016: India's 500th test match.
