American singer, actress and writer Miley Ray Cyrus was born today. She was born on November 23, 1992, in Nashville, Tennessee. She is particularly known for her portrayal of the lead character in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. In keeping with the success of Hannah Montana, a Soundtrack CD was broadcast in October 2006, with 8 songs sung on the program. Her solo music career began on 23 June 2007 with the release of her debut album, Meet Miley Cyrus.
Including her first top 10 single "See You Again". The song helped Cyrus connect Radio Disney to the mainstream Top 40 success and opened the way for many other Disney artists.
