Earlier on October 12, the MiG-29K fighter plane of the Indian Navy crashed. During that time the Navy had informed that the pilots of the aircraft were safe and the accident happened due to a technical fault. At the same time, according to a statement issued by the Navy, 'The MiG 29K, which was flying regularly over the sea from Goa, encountered a technical fault during its return. The pilots ejected safely and were found in a swift search and rescue operation.'
