Bollywood famous personalities express grief over Milkha Singh's demise

Milkha Singh, popularly known as 'Flying Sikh', has passed away. Milkha Singh had been battling corona infection for nearly a month and breathed his last in Chandigarh at 11:30 pm last Friday. Earlier last Sunday, his wife Nirmal Kaur, a former national volleyball captain, also died of coronavirus. Milkha Singh was currently 91 years old and has now left the world. Tell you that Milkha Singh is survived by her golfer son Jeev Milkha Singh and three daughters. From leaders to Bollywood celebs, they are also paying emotional tributes to Milkha Singh through social media. The list includes several celebs including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan, Raveena Tandon, Mukesh Chhabra who have paid tribute through social media. Priyanka Chopra tweeted her grief over the passing away of Milkha Singh. In this tweet, Priyanka wrote, 'I still remember that first meeting with you. When you warmly hosted me. I am deeply impressed by your excellence, humility and contribution. Om Shanti Milkha ji.'

 

Apart from him, Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan has also tweeted. He tweeted, "Flying Sikh Milkha Singh may not be among us, but his presence will always be with us. He was an inspiration to me as well as millions of people. May your soul rest in peace Milkha Singh sir." At the same time, Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon has also posted a post in which she wrote, "I had the privilege of meeting you. This meeting will always be special for me. You will have a special place in the hearts of all of us. Whenever your inspiration is needed, 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' will echo in our ears.''
