Today i.e. on June 18, 2021, Milkha Singh said goodbye to this world. Milkha Singh has made India's name high in the world. Milkha Singh was born on November 20, 1929. He took part in many races for India and won most of the races.  

During his career, he won about 75 races. He finished fourth in the 400-meter race at the 1960 Olympics. It took him 45.73 seconds, which was a national record for 40 years. Milkha Singh has been awarded the Padma Award in 1959 for his outstanding performance, and in 2001 he was also given the Arjuna Award, but he did not accept it.

For your information, let us know that Milkha was the only player to win a gold medal in athletics at the Commonwealth Games, but later Krishna Poonia won a gold medal in discus throw in 2010. He also won gold medals in the 1958 and 1962 Asian Games. Milkha has represented India in several international tournaments. His parents, brother and two sisters died during the Partition of India-Pakistan. After independence came to India, he lived with his sister.
