Rewa: The Lokayukta police team has conducted raids earlier at the house of Harishankar Tiwari, who was posted as sub-inspector at Chakghat Krishi Upaj Mandi in the district. It is said to have a property worth about one crore rupees. It is also reported that the Lokayukta's action is still continuing. The state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had instructed to take action against corrupt officials earlier and the action is going on since then.

At present, the Lokayukta is continuously engaged in action. At present, the Rewa Lokayukta Police team has exposed crores of properties while giving the employee's house. In this case, the Lokayukta police team was informed that sub-Inspector Harishankar Tiwari, who was posted at Chakghat Krishi Upaj Mandi, has earned disproportionate assets. As soon as the information was received, the Lokayukta police team raided at the residence of Sub Inspector Harishankar Tiwari at Chakghat.

Action has been taken at 2 locations in which crores of properties have been disclosed. In this case, it is also being reported that the Mandi inspector's salary so far is Rs. 18 lakhs, but the unnamed property of about one crore rupees earned by him has blown all the senses. The list includes two four-wheeler vehicles, 3 motorcycles, two plots and three houses. In addition, necessary documents are being mined to uncover more property.
