The series of new car launches are on and it is expected to run till the end of the year, in the meantime, Mini has launched the Limited Edition model of its luxurious car Countryman. Launched as Mini Countryman Black Edition, the car has an ex-showroom price of Rs 42.40 lakh. The company will sell only 24 such cars in India. The Countryman Black Edition car is based on a variant inspired by the Cooper S John Cooper Works (JCW). It costs Rs 1 lakh more than the standard model. This Limited Edition model has undergone several cosmetic updates. The Mini Countryman Black Edition features a new black grille, JCW carbon fiber finish out side rear view mirrors (ORVM), piano black headlamp and taillamp bezels, Piona black countrymen badge, bonnet stripes, black roof rails and 18-inch JCW alloy wheels. 

It is to be noted that there have been many updates in the cabin of Countryman Black Edition. The interior of the car is completely black in color. It features head-up display, mini-wired package, sports seats with memory function, panoramic sunroof, Harmon Kardon sound system, JCW steering wheel, JCW arrow kit and automatic tailbell. Has a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. This engine generates 189 bhp power and 280 Nm torque. The engine is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle-shifters. The mileage of the Mini Countryman is 14.41 kilometers per liter. It takes 7.5 seconds to catch a speed of 0 to 100 km.
