On Friday, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has burst out on Centre Government. Despite lack of financial support from the Central government, Telangana has been witnessing rapid development for the past seven years. Let us share that accusing the BJP government at the Centre of neglecting the interests of the State, he said the Union government was only interested in collecting taxes from the State but not in releasing the State’s share, referring to the GST dues from the Centre.
For your information let us share that Rama Rao was speaking after inaugurating and launching development works worth Rs 423.26 crore, including newly built RTC bus stand here on Friday. Addressing a public meeting at the bus stand, he said whether it was establishing the Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) in Hyderabad or setting up Railway Coach Factory at Kazipet or Steel Factory at Bayyaram as promised in AP Reorganisation Act, the Central government remained non-committal despite several requests from the State government.
However, here it is to be noted that he urged the people of the State to give a thought to the negligent attitude of the BJP government. He said though there was no support from the Centre, the State government has been delivering every promise it made to the people. The Minister assured to sanction three integrated vegetable and meat markets to Khammam, which he said stood as an example for development in the State.
