New Delhi: Amid protests by farmers, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has again given what he has given to find a solution through dialogue. His side has said that the government is ready to hold talks. Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi has made scathing remarks on farmers calling them Mavali. On their part, it has been said that farmers are only helping middlemen.
Coming to Narendra Singh Tomar's statement, he has said that we are ready to hold talks with farmers and we have been talking before. The Modi government is a farmer-Hiteshi government. After Tomar's statement, Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi made controversial remarks at a press conference. He called the protesting farmers mawali and even said that these people are not farmers. He argued that some middlemen were being assisted under the guise of this demonstration.
According to Meenakshi, under the guise of the Farmer movement, the political agenda is being sharpened and only one narrative is being pushed forward. If Meenakshi Lekhi's scathing remarks on farmers were there, Pegasus also attacked the opposition over the espionage controversy.
