The increase in exports of AYUSH products in the recent months is a direct reflection of their growing popularity in many countries said Commerce minister Goyal. The standardisation of the HS codes related to export is the top priority as a step to promote exports. He called upon the AYUSH Ministry to work in coordination with the Commerce and Finance Ministries to achieve this early. The quality and pricing of their products should also be in mind , so that the AYUSH products become increasingly competitive in the global market. Minister of Commerce is happy to extend support to the AYUSH ministry's concept of a AYUSH Export Promotion Council and assured of extending full support. AYUSH will figure in the Brand India activities.
