Twitter India has created a special Twitter account @CovidIndiaSeva to help Indians. This account has been launched by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan in a tweet. On the Kovid India service Twitter, users will get Corona updates in real time. Apart from this, users can also ask their questions by tagging this handle. At its launch, Dr. Harshvardhan said that over time Twitter has proved to be a mandatory service for the government and citizens, where dialogue can be done and Information can be exchanged, especially in times of need.

Looking at #IndiaFightsCorona with social distancing, we are quite impressed with Twitter's work. @ CovidIndiaSeva handles people in real-time from a government source to get information about Corona. You can also ask for help about the corona by tagging this handle. For example, if you are ill and suspect corona, you can solve your problem by tweeting. At the same time, by tagging this handle, users can get information about Corona Helpline, Testing Centers and Hospital.

For your information, on this partnership with the government, Mahima Kaul, director of public policy for India and South Asia, said on his Twitter that we need a participative approach between the government and our industry to overcome this global health crisis. Our work has never been so important before and there has not been such a demand for our service before. People from all parts of the country are using Twitter to seek information from reliable sources.
