Chennai: In an appaling case,  a minor girl was allegedly forced into the flesh trade by a woman and her brother. The accused had allegedly lured the victim by promising a job to her. The accused were booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

According to the report, the incident came to light after the victim narrated her ordeal to the Kancheepuram police. The accused allegedly promised the job of a maid with a salary of Rs 5,000. The woman was allegedly an acquaintance of the victim's family. The victim's family believed the accused and sent the victim to Chennai. The girl alleged that she was taken to several hotels and apartment complexes in Chennai. The victim was allegedly recorded on camera while being raped. The accused allegedly threatened to post the videos of the victim on social media and asked her not to inform her parents.  The alleged incidents started in November last year.

While talking to the Times of India, victim’s family said that  the accused allegedly promised the victim a job because she was aware of her financial situation. The family then approached the police and lodged a complaint.
