HYDERABAD: A minor girl was reportedly kidnapped and raped by two youth in the old city of Hyderabad.

After kidnapping and drugging the 13-year-old girl, the accused sexually raped her for two days in a hotel, as per reports.

Tuesday, when the girl went to Chanchalguda to get some medicine, the teenagers abducted her. The following day, her mother filed a complaint with Dabeerpura Police Station because she still hadn't returned home.
Police opened an inquiry after registering a missing person case. The girl reportedly knew the young men, and they drove her to a motel. They then drugged her and attacked her sexually.

On Wednesday, the accused called the victim's mother to let her know that the victim was with them. Later, they dropped her off close to Chaderghat.

The mother of the victim gave the police the phone number. The offender was soon taken into custody by authorities in the Rein Bazar region.

Police said, both of the accused have been taken into custody, and the Dabeerpura police station has filed a report under the POCSO Act.

The victim has been sent to Bharosa Centre.  Her statement will be recorded following counselling and a medical assessment, as per police officer's statement.

The incident came less than 4 months after the gang rape of a minor in upscale Jubilee Hills.

After a daytime party at a bar on May 28, the 17-year-old victim was cornered by six suspects, five of whom were minors. After pledging to drive her home, five of them, including a major, sexually attacked her in a car.

5 accused, including the son of a leader of ruling  TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi), were charged with gang rape while the 6th accused, whose father is an MIM legislator, is facing molestation charges.
