On Tuesday, a 17-year-old girl was raped by a man in his own residence in  Karol Bagh, New Delhi.
The incident took place when the maid went to work her daily chores and found that nobody was at home. The man had molested her before as well. He is arrested by the police.

According to the police, they received the information through the victim’s father who was told about this by his wife. They had informed an NGO earlier and they came to complain in the police station together.
The Accused was immediately recognised as Kapil Bhatia, he is a businessman in Kashmere Gate.

On the statements from the girl, she has been working on the same venue for 6 months. As usual she went on Tuesday to find there was no one in the house apart from the 40 years old man. He called her to his room and raped her and threatened her to tell anyone.

The case has been registered under Sections 354 (assault or criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 376 (punishment for rape) and 377 (unnatural offences) of IPC, and entitled under POCSO Act and Juvenile Justice Act.

The police went to arrest Bhatia on Tuesday night where he was caught trying to flee from his home.  The police are trying to find if there is any other girl he has ever molested.
