Nowadays crime cases are rapidly increasing. In a shocking incident, which emerged from Shimla, a boy raped his minor cousin. The incident occurred in Jhakdi police station area of Rampur subdivision of district Shimla. According to the reports, a fine of Rs 10,000 and 10 years of imprisonment has been imposed on the accused and in case of failure to pay the fine, the accused will have to spend another year in the imprisonment.

In this case, the special court of Rampur district and sessions judge Kinnaur has pronounced this verdict on Thursday. According to the case registered in Police Station, Jhakdi, the 15-year-old minor, when she was alone in her house in November 2016, her cousin Sumit Sharma came there and raped her. The accused also threatened to kill her and due to this fear, the minor did hide this incident.

However, the accused got encouraged and he kept raping her for three consecutive months. According to reports, when the victim became pregnant, she told about the incident to all her relatives. After this, the families lodged a complaint  in the police station.
