Srinagar: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the Chairman of the Hurriyat Conference, has called upon the international community to play an active role in resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict. He underlined the importance of finding an equitable solution that allows people on both sides of the conflict to coexist in peace and with dignity.

Mirwaiz expressed deep concern over the impact of the Israel-Palestine conflict on the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the broader Islamic world. Mirwaiz urged against unilateral decisions and called for a just and comprehensive solution to the conflict. He emphasized the need to restore the rights of the Palestinian people, including the restoration of their land and the right to live in peace and dignity.

Mirwaiz expressed a desire for peace and stability for both Palestinians and Israelis, emphasizing that no one is against any country or its people.
