Karnal: Police have nabbed two criminals who pelted stones outside CM Manohar Lal's Prem Nagar residence in Karnal on Friday night. Five criminals are out of police custody. The police claim that those criminals will also be nabbed soon. During preliminary interrogation, the two criminals revealed that they wanted to spread fear of their names in the city. Due to this, they pelted stones at the Chief Minister's residence. After the incident, BJP leaders also reached the spot on Saturday morning.

In the same incident, the police have registered a case under various sections including an attempt to kill seven criminals on the complaint of Constable Sachin, who is deployed in the security at the Chief Minister's residence. Sepoy Sachin said that around 11 pm on Friday night, he heard the sound of brick stone-pelting outside the chief minister's residence.

When he came out of the house, he saw that about 7 persons on two motorcycles and a scooty had bricks and stones in their hands and they also rained bricks and stones on him with the intention of killing him. He saved his life by being on the side. After that, those criminals escaped. It was immediately reported to the police. Police scanned the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity and identified the culprits and nabbed two criminals Shivam Behl, a resident of New Prem Nagar and Gaurav Kumar, a resident of Ramnagar. Both criminals will be produced in court. These criminals disclosed the names of their associates Shubham Khillan resident of Shanti Nagar, Simardeep Singh resident of Shiv Colony, Dhruv Sachdeva, Sagar Sarbata and Singla Sarbata. Who is still out of police custody. There are no CCTV cameras installed outside the Chief Minister's residence.
