She gave an interview earlier, in which she told how it was very difficult for her to study. She had said, "At the age of 14, I used to see girls around me enjoying life, wearing nice clothes, going to school. I knew my life was not like them."
Manya had said, "Once she had to sell her mother's jewelry to get admission in the educational institution." She told in the interview, "Miss India was not my childhood dream. But I did not want to become a doctor or an engineer. Though it would have made my parents happy but I did not want to live a normal life. '
