Pan Indian superstar Prabhas is reportedly jugalbandi between the sets of 'Aadipurush' and 'Saalar' in Hyderabad. The blockbuster KGF is working with the filmmaker for a high-octane action entertainer titled 'Saalar'. Although Shruti Haasan is already set to play the lead opposite Prabhas, the makers are on the lookout for a second leading lady in the film. As per reports, she has reportedly roped in 2018 Miss India pageant title holder Meenakshi Choudhary for the role.

She will reportedly join the sets of 'Saalar' from the next schedule of the film. Meenakshi, who already had a Telugu release this year with 'Ichhatha Vahanamulu Niluparadu', is currently shooting for 'Khiladi' and 'Hit 2' in Telugu and with this new film, she is making her debut in Telugu cinema. The presence is gradually being strengthened.

The Prashanth Neel directorial will reportedly complete its shooting by the end of this year. Meanwhile, with KGF: Chapter 2 pushed to summer 2022, 'Saalar' will reportedly release in late 2022. In addition, both films are being funded by Hombale Films.
