A tragic case has emerged in Switzerland involving the alleged murder of Kristina Joksimovic, a 38-year-old former model and Miss Switzerland finalist. According to Swiss authorities, her husband, identified as 41-year-old Thomas, has confessed to the crime, which took place in February in their home in Binningen, near Basel.

Reports reveal that Thomas had his appeal for release denied by the Federal Court in Lausanne. He admitted to killing Joksimovic during a crime scene reconstruction in March, claiming it was in self-defense after she allegedly attacked him with a knife.

The autopsy showed that Joksimovic was strangled, and her body was later dismembered using tools such as a jigsaw, knife, and garden shears. Parts of her remains were blended and dissolved in chemicals, a horrifying detail shared by investigators.

Thomas was arrested the day after Joksimovic’s body was found. Initially, he claimed to have discovered her dead and, in a state of panic, dismembered her. A third party reportedly alerted the authorities, leading to his arrest.

Joksimovic, known for her appearance in the 2007 Miss Switzerland pageant and her title as Miss Northwest Switzerland, had transitioned into a successful career as a catwalk coach. She even mentored Dominique Rinderknecht for the 2013 Miss Universe pageant.
