In canal, a body of a missing 18-year-old woman was found floating, as per said by police Sadar SHO Sikander Singh identified her as Kiranjot Kaur of Badon village falling under Mehtiana Police Station.
He said that she was missing since July 23 and her father Kuldip Singh had lodged a complaint about it with the police.
A case has been registered by the police in this connection, said the SHO.
