Hindi cinema's 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar's film 'Mission Mangal' has been released in cinemas on August 15 and people are very fond of it. While the film 'Mission Mangal' sparked uproar at the box office on its opening day, the impact has been clearly visible on the second day. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Tapsi Panu, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, Nitya Menon, Sanjay Kapoor and Zeeshaan Ayub are also in the lead role.

Film critic Taran Adarsh said Mission Mangal, who earned Rs 29.16 crore on the first day at the box office, took a total of Rs 17.28 crore on the second day. The film has grossed a total of 46.44 crores in just two days.

In the film, Akshay Kumar is seen as ISRO's Scientist and Mission Director Rakesh Dhawan, Vidya Balan as ISRO's scientist and project director Tara Shinde, Sonakshi Sinha as 'Aika Gandhi', Tapsi Pannu as 'Kritika Agarwal', Nitya Menon as 'Varsha Pillai', Sharman Joshi  as 'Parmeshwar Naidu' and Anant Iyer is in the role of 'HG Dattatreya.' The film's story is based on ISRO's Mars project.
