Shaabaashiyaan: New Song of 'Mission Mangal' Released

Story: As you know the movie is based on Mars Planet. The film begins in 2010, where ISRO's well-known scientist and mission director Rakesh Dhawan (Akshay Kumar) along with ISRO's own scientist and project director Tara Shinde (Vidya Balan) launched a rocket under a mission called GSLV C-39, but unfortunately, the mission proves to be unsuccessful. As a result of the flaws, Rakesh is sent to the Mars project department in the odd project of ISRO. There, the HomeScience rule gives Tara the idea of Mission Mars. While the two reassure ISRO head Vikram Gokhale for the project, the biggest challenge they face is the budget and the strong opposition of NASA-invited officer Dilip Tahil.

On Rakesh's stubbornness and commitment, he is given a team of novice scientists like Aka Gandhi (Sonakshi Sinha), Kritika Agarwal (Tapsi Panu), Varsha Pillay (Nitya Menon), Parmeshwar Naidu (Sharman Joshi) and HG Dattatreya (Anant Iyer). Not all these scientists are at all convinced of the Mars mission. They have their own problems and thinking. Tara Shinde changes their mindset and inspires them to join the mission on Mars.

Review: Director Jagan Shakti has made his debut through the film. And in the first film, he did a great job.  With science and film based on true historical phenomena, he has managed to make an impact. Viewers like the movie. But they have taken cinematic liberty in many places to give the characters a mass appeal, which seems to be childish in someplace, but they still hold the end of the motion firmly. The director has tried to explain the journey of the Mangalyaan mission based on home science and other scientific facts, but he has proved weak in terms of special effects.

In addition, VFX effects could have been excellent if they were strong. Crisp story, impressive background score and tying Climax are plus points for the film, but the PM's entry and his commentary didn't be needed at the end of the film. The acting of all the artists makes the film a sitter.

Acting: Akshay Kumar has played the role of Rakesh Dhawan in a very fun way. The audience on their one-liners not only laughs but also claps.  Actress Vidya Balan has managed to awaken her magic as usual. She has lived the role of a scientist and an ordinary mother and wife so beautifully. In one scene, she says to her husband Sanjay Kapoor, "If The daughter is so concerned, so keep the numbers of her friends with you. What is the point in getting me feel guilty?' Sonakshi in the role of Aika Gandhi looks hot as well as convincing.

Tapsi, on the other hand, has maintained the spontaneity of her character. Sharman Joshi has entertained his character in the wrath of Mangal Grah. Sanjay Kapoor, Nitya Menon, Kirti Kulhari, Zeeshan Ayub, Anant Iyer have been well-supported despite small roles. In Amit Trivedi's music, the song 'Mission Mangalam' has become perfect.

Why watch: The film can be seen for the pride sensation and the Feelgood factor.
