Kolkata: Bollywood actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty has become active again in Bengal politics ahead of the panchayat elections. Today, on Tuesday (November 22), Mithun Da reached Kolkata. As soon as he stepped into the Kolkata airport, he said that he has come on the orders of the party president and he will hold a meeting with BJP workers for the next few days. Mithun Chakraborty had joined the BJP before the Bengal assembly elections. Recently, he has also been made a member of the BJP core committee.

According to the report, after reaching Kolkata, Mithun Chakraborty said that he would not do anything secretly. He has arrived in Kolkata to campaign for the upcoming panchayat elections. He will seek votes for the BJP in the panchayat polls in various districts of the state from November 23 to 27. On the last day, he will hold an important meeting in Bolpur, the stronghold of ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) strongman Anubrata Mondal. According to a senior BJP leader, Mithun will hold a meeting in Purulia on November 23. Mithun will then brainstorm with BJP workers in Bankura on November 24, Bishnupur on November 25, Asansol on November 26, and Bolpur on November 27. Also, Mithun Da will attend the Zila panchayat executive conference in all cases.

Let me tell you that Mithun Chakraborty has been used by the BJP to gather crowds so far, but now the BJP is fielding Mithun Chakraborty in the work of the organization. However, Mithun Da has no experience with the BJP organization in Bengal. But he will start his campaign by meeting booth-level workers.
