Aizwal: A shocking case has come to light from Mizoram. Here, a man became a human bomb to kill his ex-wife. Both of them were killed in the blast. The case is dated Tuesday (October 5, 2021). According to reports, 61-year-old Talang Thiangalimi died on the spot in the blast in Lunglei city. Another 62-year-old Rohminglyana succumbed to her injuries during treatment at the hospital.

Initially, it seemed that a terrorist organization had carried out the crime. After which administrative agencies and security agencies were also alerted. It was later revealed that It was Rohmingliana who carried out the blast and Thiangalimi was his ex-wife. According to the report, the incident took place near the high power committee office at Chanmari Lang in the Lunglei district. District Superintendent of Police Rex Vanchhawang told the media that the two deceased were elderly. Rohmingliana and Thiangalimi divorced a year ago.

When the woman objected, she lit a cigarette and hugged the woman saying that her health was bad. He then blasted himself by pressing the trigger of the bomb.

According to police officer Vanchhawang, gelatin was used in the incident. The accused was taken to civil hospital for treatment after the incident but could not be rescued. Police say the separation of husband and wife is very common in Mizoram but such an incident is unusual.
