On Monday morning, Mizoram reported two more fatalities due to Covid19 infection, as well as 72 new positive cases.

According to the Covid19 report issued by the Mizoram directorate of information and public relations on Monday morning, 64 new cases were detected during the Rapid Antigen Test and 8 more individuals were found positive during the FIA test.There are 37 males and 35 females among the new positive cases. Mizoram's overall number of Covid19 cases has risen to 1,40,564 as a result of the new cases.

The positivity rate in the state is 10.45 percent. A total of 179 people were discharged after their recovery, according to the Covid19 report provided by the DIPR, Mizoram at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Mizoram has seen a total of 1,38,626 people recover from the disease. Aizawl district had 67 recovered cases, Khawzawl 36, Serchhip 35, Kolasib-15, Saitual-11, Lawngtlai-6, Lunglei-4, Mamit-3, and Hnahthial district had two.

The recovery rate in Mizoram is 98.67 percent. In Mizoram, 539 individuals have died as a result of the deadly virus. There are presently 1399 active cases in Mizoram. On Sunday, 65 new cases were discovered, with a positivity rate of 13.63 percent and one person dying from the virus.
