MK Stalin-led DMK alliance leads in Tamil Nadu, LDF looking to retain in Kerala

The much-awaited result day is here! The high-stakes assembly elections held in five states of nation results will come out. The states West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry today will come to know who will rule the hearts.   

According to latest figures, the Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in Assam and Puducherry. The saffron party is in close fight with the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal. In Tamil Nadu, the DMK+ is ahead of the incumbent AIADMK+, whereas, in Kerala, the LDF is likely to retain the throne. As many as 1100 observers will watch the process and candidates and agents will have to produce a negative COVID-19 test report or double dose of vaccination certificate to get an entry.

West Bengal Assembly election

After eight-phased Assembly polls Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress is seeking to seize power for the third consecutive term, whereas, the Bharatiya Janata Party is making claims of winning over 200 seats while so far has reached 115 in the 294-member West Bengal Assembly.

Tamil Nadu Assembly election

The DMK-Congress alliance is looking to dethrone the AIADMK alliance and are likely to cross the halfway mark of 118 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.

Kerala Assembly election

Pinarayi Vijayan's Left Democratic Front (LDF) is aiming to retain power in the southern state. The counting is being done for 140 assembly seats.
