MLA Jignesh Mewani supports Ford India workers protest for job, Says Problem will be resolved soon

Ahmedabad: Ford India has announced the winding up of its business from India. The company is going to close its factories in Tamil Nadu and Gujarat in a phased manner. This threatens the jobs of more than 3,000 employees working in these factories. More than 1,600 employees of the Ford India company who have become unemployed are protesting on the streets of Gujarat demanding employment. MLA Jignesh Mevani from Vadgam also arrived to support them.
 
Supporting the demand of unemployed employees of Ford, MLA Jignesh Mewani has said that the government or the company should provide employment to these people. Otherwise, they will launch a big movement for these unemployed people. Ford India employees are protesting outside the company's Sanand plant in Gujarat. Jignesh Mevani also participated in the demonstration. On reaching the spot, he also interacted with the employees and discussed the matter.

Anil Singh Jala, an employee of Ford, who was among the protesters, said he has been working in the factory for the past seven years. With the company's sudden announcement to close the plant, there is now a job for them as well as other employees working here.
