While distributing the work among the cabinet, CM Yogi Adityanath kept maximum 34 departments with him, while taking PWD department from Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, six important departments including rural development and overall rural development and rural engineering have been handed over. Brajesh Pathak, who became Deputy CM in place of BJP veteran Dinesh Sharma, has been given the charge of Health Ministry, while Jitin Prasad, who left Congress and joined BJP, has increased his political stature. Along with this, veteran leaders like Suresh Khanna and Surya Pratap Shahi have been given their old portfolios. Talking about the change, the justice and legislative departments which were with Brajesh Pathak last time are now with CM Yogi, while the national integration which was with Yogi has now been entrusted to Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. Keshav earlier had an important department like the Public Works Department. This time also he has got a department related to development, but instead of PWD, Rural Development and Samagra Village Development have got a Rural Engineering Department. In the second term of the Yogi government, the political stature of many leaders including Brajesh Pathak and Jitin Prasada has increased. Brajesh Pathak was earlier in charge of the Department of Justice and Rural Engineering, but now he has been given the full responsibility of the Health Department. First he was made Deputy Chief Minister and now an attempt has been made to give a message to the Brahmin society by giving important responsibility. A similar message has been given by making Jitin Prasada the Minister of Public Works Department (PWD). He was made the Technical Education Minister in the first term of the Yogi government, but this time the work has been assigned according to his experience. In the first term of the Yogi government, Swatantra Dev Singh was made the Transport Minister, but later he was sent to the organization. He has been promoted and now entrusted with the task of handling PM Modi's ambitious Har Ghar Nal Yojana, under which he has been given the charge of irrigation, water power and flood control departments. At the same time, Sandeep Singh has been appointed as Minister of State with independent charge this time. This time a very important department like Basic Education has been assigned from the point of view of budget and human resource. The leaders who became ministers for the first time in UP have got a lot of importance in the second term of the Yogi government. Babyrani Maurya, who became a cabinet minister, has been given the charge of important departments like women's welfare, child development and nutrition. Yogendra Upadhyay has been entrusted with the task of implementing the National Education Policy-2020 by giving a big department like higher education. Yogendra Upadhyay has been given the responsibility of three departments. Will take charge of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Electronics and Information Technology departments. Along with the tourism development of UP, the responsibility of tourism department has been entrusted to Jaiveer Singh for the development of symbols of cultural nationalism.
