Tirupati: The members of United Teachers Federation (UTF) Chittoor district unit staged a sit-in in front of the DEO office in Chittoor. Opposing the deputation of teachers against the rules, MLC Y Srinivasulu Reddy said that during the last three months the authorities have deputed many teachers against the rules. The MLC demanded immediate cancellation of all deputations. Meanwhile, MLC Srinivasulu Reddy took the matter to the notice of District Collector M Hari Narayanan, who assured action after speaking to the DEO.
