According to the information received, the retail price of onion in Delhi has increased by 45 percent to Rs 100 per kg. According to the same data, onion prices have increased almost 3 times compared to last year. In November 2018, the price of onion in the retail market was 30-35 rupees kg. The official said that private traders told the government that 80 containers of imported onions have reached Indian ports. And 100 containers can be sent to India by sea route. Onion prices have almost doubled in the last few months.
