Vivek Oberoi starrer Prime Minister Narendra Modi biopic is making since its announcement. Even when the trailer was out last month, a lot of people and the opposition weren't pleased with it. The biopic on PM Modi was supposed to release on April 5, however that didn't happen. Film will now hit the silver screen on April 11.
Now, As reported by PTI, the Maharashtrian Navnirman Sena has demanded the resignation of CFBC chief Prasoon Joshi.

According to the report, The MNS Party has alleged that Prasoon Joshi has given preferential treatment to the makers of PM Modi's biopic. The film is being criticised as it is releasing during the time of 2019 Loksabha Elections.

President of Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena Amey Khopkar, told PTI, "As per the rule, the producers have to submit the final copy of the film to the censor board 58 days prior to the date of the exhibition. So why was special treatment given to the biopic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi?" He further said that CBFC has gone out of its way to give certification to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's biopic. Demanding resignation of Joshi Khopkar added, "We condemn the censor board which went out of its way for this film to appease the government. Prasoon Joshi should resign immediately from his post."
The film showcases Modi's journey’s from a tea seller to the PM of India.
