"Mo Sarkar" initiative brings new governance model: Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said today at a review of the 'Mo Sarkar' project that it has given the state's administrative structure a new paradigm. Patnaik urged all agencies to enlist more people in the initiative and recommended that it be closely monitored on a regular basis. 

On the 2nd of October, 2019, the Chief Minister started the 'Mo Sarkar' programme.

Odisha has made significant growth in the last two decades, saidPatnaik, and the state has become a model in various fields.  He noted that the 'Mo Sarkar' programme, which began two years ago, has given the State's administrative system a new model.  He said, Mo Sarkar has changed people's perceptions of the government and government institutions dramatically. He went on to say that it had also been successful in establishing trust between the government and the people.

The Chief Minister stated that actions are being done in response to public comments. He said that the programme necessitated comprehensive behavioural transformation, which he claimed had been accomplished.

Patnaik expressed his joy by saying that the administrative procedure for this programme has become more partnership-oriented, and citizens have become stakeholders in government programmes as a result of this process. He stated that by continuing to work in this direction, an inclusive society founded on equity and justice can be developed.
