New Delhi: The general public, which is struggling with rising prices of petrol and diesel, may soon face a double attack of inflation. According to a recent report, companies may hike tariffs in the new fiscal year beginning in April. Under which the prices of mobile calling and data packs can increase. Since mobile is an important requirement of the common man. It can affect the general public.

According to the Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency (ICRA) report, companies may once again make tariff plans expensive to increase their revenue in the business year 2021-22. However, no information has been disclosed about how much their prices will be increased. But if prices rise during the year, it will double attack the general public amid inflation.

For the first time in 2019, companies had increased tariffs. According to the ICRA report, the increase in tariff and the upgrading of customers from 2G to 4G could improve average revenue per user (ARPU). By the middle of the year, it can be around Rs. 220. This will increase the industry's revenue by 11% to 13% in the next 2 years and operating margin by about 38% in the business year 2022.
