The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has changed the rules for availing new mobile SIMs for the convenience of customers. Under these new rules, the need to fill-up the form for prepaid to be converted into postpaid or postpaid in prepaid has been abolished. According to the information received, customers will now be able to do this easily by filling up digital forms. The decision was approved by the Central Government during a recent union cabinet meeting. Let me tell you all that recently the Department of Telecommunications had also changed the KYC rules.

As per the new telecom department rules, KYC will be completely digital if you want to get a new mobile number or telephone connection. You don't have to submit any documents for the new SIM now. At the same time, no form will now have to be filled up for postpaid numbers to be postpaid and prepaid. In fact, digital KYC will be considered valid for this and customers will do self KYC with the help of telecom company's app. At the same time, there are reports that they will have to pay only Rs. 1 Customers can complete this work in just a few steps through the website or app.

Process of Self KYC-
* Download SIM Provider's app. Now register from your phone.
* Now give your alternative number.
* Login now with the help of one-time password (OTP).
* You choose the self KYC option in it and complete the process by filling in the information.

Telecom operators will no longer issue SIM cards to people below the age of 18 years. Further, if a person's mental condition is not good, there will be a ban on issuing SIM cards.
