Modi cabinet announces major important decisions regarding farmers, villages and electricity

New Delhi: A meeting of the Cabinet and Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs was held under the chairmanship of PM Narendra Modi. Power Distribution Reforms were allowed in this meeting. At the same time, funds were also allowed under Bharat net project to connect villages to villages in the country. An allocation of 19,000 crore rupees has been allowed for Bharat net project.

Relief package allowed:-
Briefing about the important decisions taken in the cabinet meeting, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said, two days ago, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman's roadmap for assistance of Rs 6.28 lakh crore due to corona has been approved by the Cabinet today. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said, earlier governments used to implement what they used to make after several days but the Modi government implemented it soon.

Budget for Electricity, Internet, DAP Subsidies:-
The Union Minister said, the government has announced free foodgrains from June to November. 93,000 crore has been announced for free foodgrains to 80 crore persons from May to November this time. The Union Minister said, a subsidy of 14,000 crore rupees has been given to ensure that the price of DAP manure, urea does not go up. 19,000 crore has been given for broadband facility in the village. 97,000 crore rupees have been given for export facility to improve power system. This is the fourth package of a self-reliant India which will come into force with immediate effect.

Highway to reach villages:-
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, PM Narendra Modi has taken a historic decision to reach out to every village on the information highway. On 15th August, the objective was to bring optical broadband to 6 lakh villages in the country. It said, 'Today, we have reached 1 lakh 56 thousand villages. India net has been implemented under PPP model in 16 states of the country. We are making an agreement for thirty years, in which we are giving the entire network'. He also said that telemedicine facility will also be provided in villages. There will be good coaching arrangements for children in the villages of the country.
