It can be announced soon. News agency Reuters has given information in this regard by quoting two senior government sources. Earlier, the Modi government had released a package of Rs 1.7 lakh crore to provide relief to the poor people of the country.

Industry chambers are pressuring that if the industry is to be saved from Corona, the government should announce a relief package as soon as possible. The industry chamber Assocham has said that at least $ 200 billion of incentive is needed to support the Indian economy. In the next 3 months, $ 50-100 billion of outright cash is required, this cash will be to compensate for loss of jobs and income.

The Assocham has also said that the government should think about reducing the GST by 50 percent for 3 months and 25 percent for the financial year. Similarly, another industry chamber CII has demanded from the government that capital of Rs. 30,000 crores should be infused in public banks so that they can help the industry.
