New Delhi: Modi government has taken an important decision to stop incidents like rape increasing in the country. In order to have justice in such incidents soon, the Modi government has decided to open 1023 new fast track courts across the country. The Modi government wants that investigation into rape and Posco cases should be completed in 2 months, while the trial of these cases should be completed in 6 months.

After 370 and CAB, now Modi government's focus is on these two big issues

Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has written a letter to all the Chief Justices of the High Court to complete the fast court trial in 6 months. Along with this, he has also written to the Chief Ministers of all the states to complete the investigation of rape and Posco cases in 2 months. There are 700 fast courts in the country. There will be an increase of 1023 fast track courts in this.

In the backdrop of gang rape and murder of 23-year-old vet in Hyderabad and many cases of sexual violence against women, the Modi government said on December 10 that women safety is its top priority. Many steps have been taken to protect women all over the country. In a written reply, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy gave information about the steps taken by the government to curb crimes against women, including launching a database on sex offenders.
