New Delhi: As soon as it stepped in 2022, the opposition Congress has hit out at the Central government. The Congress has alleged that under PM Modi's rule, the people are suffering from price rise. The prices of everything are increasing. Even the kitchen budget has gone awry. The Congress alleged that the government is going to raise inflation even more in the new year.

Congress National General Secretary and spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala shared the video on Twitter and said, "Remember, we wish each other prosperity every New Year, congratulations, but have you ever wondered what our government is giving us on the New Year for our happiness and prosperity. What are you wishing for us? Like the last seven years, the gift being given by the Modi government to the people of the country this year is the gift of 'the hit of price rise.'

In addition, Randeep Surjewala tweeted that petrol worth Rs 71 per litre and diesel of Rs 56 per litre crossed Rs 100 a litre today. The gas cylinder of Rs. 400 cooking gas crossed 1000. Edible oil increased from Rs. 90 to Rs. 200 to 250. In addition, the price of pulses was also increased from Rs. 60 per kg to Rs. 150 kg.
